Excelus Search was founded in 2018 by Tony Sack, a specialist with over 20 years of experience in software, SaaS, and enterprise technology recruitment.
Tony built Excelus to solve a common problem for early-stage tech businesses: finding exceptional Go-to-Market and sales talent in competitive, niche markets.
Over two decades, Tony has become a trusted advisor to founders, CROs, and commercial leaders, known for deep sector knowledge, a transparent way of working, and a candidate experience that feels distinctly human.

Tony is Founder and Director of Excelus Search, with more than 20 years’ experience helping high-growth software and technology companies build and scale their commercial teams. He leads the firm’s GTM recruitment practice and oversees a team of consultants delivering senior sales and leadership hires for venture-backed and scaling businesses across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
Tony partners closely with founders and commercial leaders, combining market insight with a search-led approach to secure the talent that accelerates market entry and revenue growth.
Ethan
Ethan is Head of Business Development at Excelus Search, leading the firm’s enterprise business development function and working closely with scaling software and technology companies worldwide. He manages relationships with founders and commercial leaders across SaaS, AI, data, cybersecurity and fintech, helping them build high-performing GTM teams across the UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
Ethan leads a dedicated enterprise business development team, bringing market insight and a consultative approach to identifying opportunities and supporting long-term growth.
Nico
Nico is a Senior GTM Recruitment Consultant at Excelus Search, specialising in sales, marketing and commercial leadership hires for high-growth SaaS and technology businesses. Working with Series A–D and venture-backed companies across the UK, EMEA, the US and APAC, he focuses on securing high-impact talent across enterprise sales and core go-to-market functions.
Nico leads the firm’s delivery and research capability, overseeing a team of specialist resourcers who support search assignments and ensure access to exceptional GTM talent.
